AdvisorFinders provides:

• A searchable directory of financial advisors sourced from public regulatory databases (SEC IARD and FINRA BrokerCheck)
• Free financial planning calculators (retirement, DRIP, compound interest, IRA comparison, Social Security timing)
• Educational articles and guides about financial planning topics
• A paid "featured listing" service for financial advisors who wish to enhance their profile visibility

AdvisorFinders is a directory and educational resource, not a financial advisory service, investment adviser, or broker-dealer. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Not Financial Advice

All content on this Site, including articles, guides, calculator outputs, advisor profiles, and any other material, is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes:

• Investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security
• Tax advice or legal advice
• A solicitation to engage any specific financial advisor
• A guarantee of any financial outcome

4. Advisor Directory Data

Advisor information displayed on AdvisorFinders is sourced from the SEC's Investment Adviser Registration Depository (IARD) and FINRA's BrokerCheck. We make this data available as a convenience, but:

• We do not verify or independently authenticate the accuracy of regulatory data
• Data may be out of date, incomplete, or contain errors
• Listing an advisor on AdvisorFinders does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification of that advisor's suitability for any purpose
• We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or advice of any advisor found through our directory

Always conduct your own due diligence before engaging a financial advisor. We recommend verifying an advisor's registration and disciplinary history directly at adviserinfo.sec.gov and brokercheck.finra.org.

5. Featured Listings

Advisors may pay for "Featured" placement in search results and on directory pages. Featured listings are clearly marked with a "⭐ Featured" badge. Payment for a featured listing does not affect our editorial content, articles, or non-featured search ranking. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads or profile views from featured listings. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to our refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download advisor data from our Site in bulk
• Use our data to build a competing directory service without written permission
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in profile claims or contact forms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, databases, or servers
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any financial advisor, firm, or regulatory authority

We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these provisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The AdvisorFinders name, logo, site design, original written content, tools, and software are owned by AdvisorFinders and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Advisor registry data sourced from SEC and FINRA is public domain. You may share links to our content but may not reproduce substantial portions of our original content (articles, guides, calculator interfaces) without written permission.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites including regulatory agencies (SEC, FINRA), financial institutions, and educational resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content or practices of any linked third-party site.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• AdvisorFinders is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of information
• We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on any content, or engagement of any advisor found through our directory
• Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid us anything)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AdvisorFinders, its owners, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action proceedings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, please discontinue use of the Site.
